Fono Film was founded in 1967 in Istanbul Sultanahmet by three iconic figures of Turkish cinema: Tuncan Okan, Ercan Okan, and Doğan Okan.

In its early years, the company began operations with international film import and laboratory services, laying the foundation for the deep-rooted expertise it holds today in post-production. Over the decades, Fono Film has played a pioneering role in the industry, introducing numerous innovations and setting standards that shaped the sector.

At our studio, we provide professional post-production services across a wide range of fields including editing, color grading, foley, sound mixing, digital and physical restoration of sound and picture, DCP mastering and duplication, backup/transfer, visual effects, title design, and subtitle creation and implementation.
